Smart Uses for Lanyards - Takeaway Menus

Lanyards may seem like a simple piece of equipment, but they are not. There are so many uses these items are good for. If you own a restaurant or an eatery, think about attaching them to takeaway menus. Studies have shown that these are a great way to boost sales.

There are many problems the average owner of a restaurant faces. Printing costs for menus can become prohibitive, and so you are likely searching for a way to reduce those costs. We offer solutions that can help you to boost sales and reduce those printing costs.

Boosting Sale with Lanyards

To begin with, one of the best ways of boosting sales is to create miniaturised versions of your menus and giving them out with lanyards. Lanyards are fantastic promotional items that can take away from a dull and boring menu. There are lots of attachment options to choose from, and we have many of them available should you decide to purchase a custom lanyard. Just let us know what you want.

You can even upgrade your lanyards with customised luxury options. What we would recommend to an owner of a restaurant is a badge holder. You can easily keep a folded menu inside the plastic pocket to prevent it from becoming frayed.

The Concept of a Gift

What you have to remember is that every piece of material you put out creates a certain impression among customers. These are not just informative; they are gift items. People are naturally more careful with such items because when they look at them, they see something that has been crafted. Great care has been taken in their manufacture.

But to make the most of one of these lanyards, you have to have a firm purpose in mind. Craft your marketing campaign before you begin placing your order. We may be able to help you with ideas and a bulk discount if you order in sufficient numbers.

The extra costs associated with lanyards can pay off in the long-term because you are demonstrating that you are a cut above all the other eateries in your area. In an industry that is so competitive, you need to take any edge you can get.

Get Started Today

Creating a custom lanyard for your company is a time-consuming process. You may even want to hire a professional designer to help you come up with some basic ideas. But we will work with you every step of the way to make sure that you get the custom lanyard you want.

Do not underestimate the power these promotional items can bring. Consider implementing them during a special offer period, so you can test the waters and see how your clientele reacts to them.

It pays to get started right away, before one of your competitors gets a jump on you. Start thinking about your custom lanyard designs and then get in touch with us. We will do our best to help you achieve your goals.

A Wonderful Use for Lanyards

There are many uses for lanyards, especially when it comes to holding identification badges. Large corporations often provide staff with ID badges and custom printed lanyards to hold them, and these badges can also be used by staff to access certain areas of the building. Different badges may be provided to visitors that will prevent them accessing secure or sensitive areas of the premises.

Astute businesses know that lanyards are not only a useful item but they are also great in terms of creating brand awareness. These lightweight and inexpensive items can be branded with company logos so that whenever staff are out and about, the company name will regularly be exposed to potential new customers.

A Unique Use for Lanyards

Lanyards are not only great in terms of promotion, but they are also a useful tool when it comes to the health and safety of customers. In fact, Gatwick Airport launched a new lanyard-based initiative to aid passengers with hidden disabilities and conditions back in May 2016.

The voluntary lanyard is provided to passengers who might not have noticeable conditions but who may still require additional assistance when travelling. The discrete sign alerts staff to the fact that certain passengers may benefit from support and help. Despite the new initiative being launched, airport chiefs were keen to point out those passengers requiring extra support could also continue to approach members of staff if they needed help. The lanyard is entirely voluntary. It is expected that other transport networks across the UK will adopt a similar system if the Gatwick project is a success.

Greater Awareness

The voluntary lanyard system for those with hidden disabilities and conditions came about after a collaboration between officials at Gatwick Airport and a number of charities in the UK, including The National Autistic Society, Alzheimer's Society and Action on Hearing Loss.

The aim of the project is to create an understanding of the challenges that those with hidden disabilities can face when travelling. It is hoped that people will become more aware and will do more to help where they can.

The lanyard alerts staff to the fact that some passengers may, for example, need extra time for preparation at security or could need additional time in order to process specific information. It is also a discreet sign that passengers need to be with their family or might need staff to use clear signs and verbal language to be understood.
